In Honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Meet Our Partner HopeWay

May is Mental Health Awareness month, a month dedicated to raising awareness of mental health disorders and eliminating the longstanding stigma that has surrounded mental health issues over the last century.

The Live Love Serve Foundation is lucky to partner with a leading mental health organization in Charlotte, HopeWay, which provides mental health treatment, programs and education for adults and their families. HopeWay employs an extensive roster of medical, psychological and wellness experts who everyday strive to achieve the organization’s mission – to make hope tangible by inspiring mental wellness for all.

They offer residential and outpatient programs and attract individuals from all over the world with their unique model that combines traditional and integrative therapies that inspire connection and healing. HopeWay’s impressive 52,000 sq. ft. facility sits on 12 acres of wooded land in south Charlotte and offers residents amenities like a meditation pavilion, music therapy room, soothing greenhouse and gardens, an art therapy center, a faith center, a 13,800 sq. ft. gym and more.

This month, we will be doing our part to put a spotlight on mental health awareness by sharing more about our partnership with the HopeWay foundation, articles about mental health from their blog and other content that may be beneficial to those in our communities struggling with their own mental health diagnoses or supporting those of family members.
Stay tuned on our blog for more from the Live Love Serve Foundation and HopeWay and remember that mental health and wellness is just as important as physical wellbeing.
