Second Harvest Food Bank is Working Overtime to Feed Families - How Can We Help?

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina is a Live Love Serve partner organization working overtime to support local families during the COVID-19 crisis. They are providing: food for families with children who are missing meals that they usually receive at school; staples for seniors quarantined at home; and they are supplementing individuals facing unemployment because of business closures and cancellations.

Today, their greatest need is for donations that will allow them to purchase healthy shelf stable items for food boxes. These boxes will be delivered to those who need them the most. Donations as small as $7, $13 and $25 will create significant meal boxes for individuals and larger families.
